Water Quality Planning

Section 208 Water Quality Management Planning is an element of the Federal Clean Water Act which specifically is charged with facilitating and encouraging the development and implementation of areawide waste treatment management plans. The purpose of the Section 208 Water Quality Management Plan for the Pueblo Region is to establish water quality policies and parameters for the Pueblo Area and designate the lead planning and management agencies for implementing those policies and parameters. PACOG is the designated Areawide 208 Water Quality Planning Agency for the Pueblo Region.
